SUDA MOURNS THE LOSS OF ANTHONY "ANT DOG" FEARN
7/9/2011 - Today SUDA mourns the death of Anthony "Ant Dog" Fearn, the son of SUDA. He fell prey to an act of gang violence. He had no involvement in gang activity, and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Anthony was like a son to the Hill Brothers, and had spent the last 9 years of his life under their direction. Anthony was a wonderful young man, just beginning his adulthood, at the young age of 18. He was set to accomplish many things in this world, to add to the many things that he had already accomplished. Anthony was a World Champion kickboxer at age 12, and secured an additional National title at 13 years old, in a separate kickboxing style. He was a seasoned fighter, and mentor to both kids and adults alike. Anthony helped instruct the Young Spartans class, helping them to achieve the greatness that he had found. Anthony will forever be missed by many.

The Banner to the right is proudly displayed on the wall at SUDA MMA Academy in memory of a great individual, always striving to become an even better person.

SUDA WARRIORS GO 4-0 AT ROUND 1 FIGHT NIGHT

7/9/2011 - SUDA Warriors fought with very heavy hearts tonight, after hearing of their brother's passing. All 4 fighters were determined to win their bouts in Anthony Fearn's name. He as a kid helped many of the fighters find themselves in the martial arts. The fighters decided that there was no way they would accept anything less than victory. Efrain Vazquez, James Fritz, James Bullock, and Zachary Vincent fought their hearts out, and all four fighters emerged victorious at Round 1 Fight Night in Decatur. It was an emotional night. The SUDA family showed up in strong support of the fighters, and there was a brief dedication speech given by Renshi over the might to commemorate the night in Anthony's honor. The SUDA fighters will forever fight with Anthony by their sides, living out the legacy that he made for himself. Congratulations to the SUDA Warriors.

SUDA WARRIORS VICTORIOUS AGAIN AT ROUND 1 FIGHTS

8/27/2011 - SUDA takes Springfield by storm racking up a couple more wins at the Round 1 Fight Night event. Fighters James Brady and James Bullock are the entertainers of the night. First up was James Brady scoring a submission by rear naked choke at 1:08 of Round 2, improving his MMA record to 1-1. James Bullock closed out the night with his 3rd straight victory, this time by TKO due to strikes at 1:26 of Round 1. James Bullock improves his record to 3-0, all ending in the first round. I think SUDA is making its mark on Southern Illinois. So far the team is 6-0 for the promotion.
